Identity designer, graphic artist, and music composer Tyler Tadlock has nearly two decades of design experience. In 2012 he founded Southern Cult, a design studio based in the Deep South with an emphasis in non-profit identity and brand design. His work has been featured in Metropolis, Vice, and AIGA Eye On Design.

Tadlock is co-owner of a creative live-work building in the Midtown neighborhood of Jackson, Mississippi, home to artists and Big House Books, an organization that sends books to prisoners throughout the state. In addition to design, Tadlock composes music under the project moniker Spirituals and has experience working in TV and film with clients from Red Bull Music Academy to Spotify, and his music works have been featured in Vice, Resident Advisor, XLR8R, Pitchfork, and has appeared on NTS Radio, Mary Ann Hobbs’s BBC6 Four Tet guest mix, and Gilles Peterson’s WorldwideFM.
