Best known for Spirituals, his long-term solo project, Tyler has garnered widespread recognition for his immersive soundscapes and evocative live performances. His compositions blend organic textures with electronic synthesis, creating deeply personal works that invite listeners into meditative, introspective trances. Currently serving as the Music Supervisor and Executive Producer for Ambient Film on PBS, Tyler plays a pivotal role in shaping the series’ auditory landscape. With a background in ambient music, improvisation, and composition, he curates and produces original music that enhances Ambient Film’s signature hypnotic experience. Beyond his work on Ambient Film, Tyler is a sought-after collaborator, regularly working with like-minded musicians, filmmakers, and artists across various creative disciplines.
